bring on the busy

It never ends when you have 2 babies... one inside you kicking all night and one next to you squirming to get away when you only want to cuddle and be still. We have discovered "Playhouse Disney" and Tigger and Pooh are lifesavers, not to mention Handy Manny or the Little Einsteins.... I love these guys. Rowan's new word is "tigger" and he says it over and over again throughout the whole show.... plus when you ask him what a tiger says, he says "roar". He's really starting to learn and say so much! I'm constantly amazed at how fast he learns and how bright his little eyes are when I teach him something new. Yet he still doesn't walk! What am I going to do with a 25 lb non-walking toddler (already too tall for 12 month pants - in fact, he's as tall as some 2 year olds!) when I have a newborn? Let's all hope he walks by then.... Oh, and he might be a leftie? Today I was making a grocery list and no matter what I'm doing and how great the toys are around him, he abandons them to involve himself with whatever I'm doing! So, I put the pen in his right hand and showed him how it worked. His little eyes lit up and he immediately switched the pen to his left hand and started doodling away! I couldn't believe it, but apparently my grandfather was left-handed, same with my uncle (his son) and my cousin (uncle's daughter)... so it's in the genes... It's so fun to discover who that little person is!

Also, I'm waiting on THIS to come in the mail.... let's hope I figure out how to use it.
