Started out with a nice haircut.... his fauxhawk was getting just a tad too long.
He was such a good boy.
Then a walk along the beach in our favorite little surf town, Huntington
We watched the surfers... 
And Rowan got to play in the sand 
He considered eating it... wait, I think he did
They tried to build a sand castle
But he couldn't resist knocking it down
Then eating it...
It was so beautiful! A warm winter day (70 degrees). Perfect way to start out the year.
The beach, yeah!
Then Rowan got buried.
And dragged down to the water...
But Daddy made sure he didn't get too wet...
So the pants and shoes needed to come off!
They watched the waves together...
Then the shirt went.
Getting brave
And, he was off (seriously, that water was SO cold...)
Well, we know where we're going to be spending our summer... Happy New Year!

Ahh, it's the best when they learn how awesome the beach is. Stila will teach Rowan how to sand swim! She still eats sand, too, btw.

I loved the little story you told! Man I miss the beach. These Texas beaches can't compete with Florida at all!!! We will have to come out there and visit the beach with you soon!!! Now that Joel got a new job, maybe we can this summer! Love you!
