This is my beautiful friend, Brittany.She just gave birth over the weekend to the sweetest little baby girl.
She has 2 of the most darling boys you've ever seen,
but has waited so patiently for a little daughter.
Coming from a family with mostly girls, she knew
how meaningful sisters and daughters are in a little growing family.
I've never entered any photo contests before,
but when I was editing Brittany's pictures last night,
and while waiting for them to convert to jpg,
I was browsing facebook and noticed this theme for this week's contest:
"Innocent Wonder"
It just fit this photo perfectly.
I love that as a bond begins to form between a mother and a daughter,
there is such wonder of the life this little one will lead,
the great things she is capable of,
and the wonder and awe of a tie between a mother and a daughter
that truly is a gift from heaven.
