our little boy is GROWING up.his first day at preschool was today at a BIG elementary school!
we met his teacher yesterday and she was so nice, and I was very impressed by the set up and all the amazing toys!!
It was a crazy day with lots of running around, of course... so although you can't see it, he's holding a plastic bag with an apple and a cheese stick in it... his ghetto mother gave him his snack in a ziploc with his name on it. When all the other kids had darling little hero lunchboxes, our Rowan held his ziploc proud. Seriously, I have issues!!! It was nuts today and I couldn't find my little insulated lunch bag to give to him and completely forgot to get him one at Target the other day!! I know! I'm awful!!
Friday will be better.... :)
I admit, I got a little emotional and was your typical hovering first-time mommy.
the teachers had to ask me to leave. literally, they said, "go hurry before he sees you!"
he never cried, he was so brave and such a good boy!!
And I ticked down the 3.5 hours like it were days to when he was done and I could go and pick him up! It was a long 3 hours.
I'm going to be a MESS when he starts Kindergarten...
But it's so good for him and he absolutely loved it!

Cute. Crazy he's that big. haha they had to ask you to leave. :) I love his shirt.
So sweet and yes he's growing up!! It's crazy these kids are SO ready to go to school and out into the world, but it is us mommies that are reluctant to "let them go" and lose our little babies:)
