arty party for our little "2" girl

she took this painting thing very seriously...

at just 2 years old, our little sassy Sarah
loves,
loves her family and gives us all lots of hugs and kisses.
she will repeat everything over and over again...
"uh-oh, wha happened?" "uh-oh, wha happened?"
in the cutest little munchkin voice.
she is such a girly girl in the sense that she loves:
to have her toenails painted
loves any and ALL shoes (especially those that can show off her pretty toes)
loves to brush her (and her ponies) hair.
She is such a sweet and loving sister to Shelby, she always wants to feed her and give her a "boo-bite" (her way of saying, "wanna bite?") she will crawl around on the floor with Shelby to play and laugh with her, and tell her, "no-no, baby" when Shelby goes after her toys!
She really looks up to and adores Rowan, and calls him by name for everything!
We love this sweet little girl, she's captured our hearts and we can't imagine life without her.

and, here's some of the party details.
everything for this party was courtesy of Albertson's.
i know, i'm kind of ghetto
but in all the hussle of the day, it was all i could do :)
I must say, in a pinch, good ol' Albertson's pulls through!
Balloons, paints, brushes, canvas's (i.e. foamboard) mini birthday cake,
cute wrapping paper,
i was quite happy with my birthday finds!

and the party peeps.
we were SO excited to have Kristen and her boys down for a visit!
her little Luke is seriously to die for.
and her little/
big Charlie is just the sweetest cutest boy!
and the aftermath...
hosing down the painted grass, chairs, and clothes :)
disclaimer: no clothes were stained or harmed in the making of this party,
when it says "washable", it really is!

and a birthday bath to finish off the night!
happiest birthday, darling.

There just aren't good enough descriptive words for how darn cute your kids are. Especially these pics of Sarah. You and Mark's genes have made some seriously adorable children!
