miss sassy & my new lens

i've really been the worst blogger ever. somewhere between having shelby & not being able to do much more than sit on my couch and zone after 7pm kiddie bedtime, i lost all motivation to continue this poor pathetic blog.... my readers are long gone by now, I'm sure.

i promise to be better?
come back?

for now, please enjoy this little blue-eyed beauty:
she is such a funny girl.
totally a climber.
will probably want to scale sheer cliffs or other scary & extreme things when she's older.
she just started nursery in our church (hit the monumental 18 month milestone)
and broke in her nursery leaders by scaling a metal folding chair. it was folded, upright, against the wall! she has the most agile, balanced little body and will climb you if you aren't giving her enough attention.

she is very sweet and silly. she loves to give hugs and say, "Awww" when she does it.
she is a daddy's girl if i've ever known one.
Mark cannot EAT, SIT, WALK, TALK, nothing without that little thing trailing after him, sitting (because she climbed up) on his lap, screaming at him to pick her up, or playing on the countertop where he parked her to either grab a plate of food, or brush his teeth.
she has started to show her "softer" side by feeding shelby her bottle (when no one is looking) running after Rowan when he gets put in "time-out" (usually for hitting her!) and waiting patiently for him to come out, say he's sorry, and get back to playing together!

she is such a light in our life and we just adore our little sassy Sarah!

for more pictures taken by the FABULOUS Kamee June,
please visit. You will love.

PS. I will blog. I promise.

well, since I just started reading your blog (from Kamee's site) last week, I have no idea how much or how long you've been neglecting your blog :) So no complaints from me!

I have faith in that promise :) Her hair has really grown and come in nicely the last few months since I saw her- what a doll! And how nice to only have one little one to struggle with during the last two hours of church now that Sarah has graduated into nursery! Yay for all!

Congrats on nursery... love the 7pm after kiddie zoning. It's usually when I mean to get all of those things done that don't get done during the day... oh well. Anyway, Sarah's pics are beautiful. You are such a great photographer. Her eyes are amazing... and of course LOVE the fam pics on Kamee's blog!

what a gorgeous little girl you've got there! I love how you've described her... the world needs more spirited women! My son is the same way- loves to climb and expresses his, ahem, wants with great volume! LOL. He's almost eight months old.

What new lens is this? Spill! :-)
