what a "nap bribe" looks like

yep, that's a chocolate cookie.
at 2 and a half, he's decided that he doesn't need a nap anymore.
it's been a losing battle all week.
but mommy is smarter than rowan.
bribery.
it works.
like a charm.
he awoke refreshed from a 2 hour nap today and immediately asked
"Eat my cookie?"
you bet.

I have been meaning to give you congrats on your new addition. Hope all went well. She is a beauty. I have a question for you. Did you have someone design your blog? I like it and need to update mine. E-mail me when you get a chance. tarapugmire@cableone.net.

You are genius as it even got Ethan to nap which he hasn't done in over a YEAR!! He even went to bed at a decent hour last night after some coaxing. Didn't try it again today but might keep it in the back of my mind if he is overtired and refusing nap! Glad it worked for you, you can use alll the down time you can get!

Too bad Carson doesn't respond to bribery of sweets! I guess I will have to bribe him with time outside or 'sun' as he calls it :) we need to get together- I can't believe I haven't met your sweet babies!

Rowan is a boy after my own heart. I even use sweets to bribe myself as a reward for things I don't want to do:> How's it going with little lady? She is beautiful! Just hoping my little lady shows up soon... my ankles are telling me that I'm ready.
