busy.

There has been so much keeping me busy these days... and I admit, by feeling overwhelmed and anxious about the "deadline", I was definitely a bah humbugger the first part of the month, but after several reminders of the true meaning of this time of year, I have caught the Christmas spirit!!
First of all, I put up a beautiful tree!  And, pulled out all our Christmas decorations and spread the cheer around the house... I'm loving how cozy it is!!  The temps have dropped to about 60 (sorry, Mom but to us this is COLD!) so I love curling up by our fire, turning on the Christmas lights and watching a nice movie with Mark at night after a long day of Christmas chaos.
THIS is what had me losing sleep at night!  Since I have left the comfort of my parent's house as a child, Christmas time has always meant stress and anxiety!  Mostly because for years, it was the end of a semester with finals and hours of studying in between working extra holiday hours and Christmas shopping... But, once I graduated from college and started working my "real" job (medical sales), I had to then worry about end of the YEAR sales with December being the slowest and least productive month, plus coming up with some type of creative Christmas gift for all my doctors and nurses to show appreciation and set myself apart from the competition!  Let's just say, I've had a few panic attacks in years past.
Since I have stopped working for medical device companies and Mark and I have started our own... this creative gift giving adventure hasn't stopped!  Only now... the $$ is coming out of my bank account rather than getting reimbursed on an expense report, and I have to creatively create everything from the gift itself to the packaging and this year, the business card!  Thanks Photoshop... And, thanks to an AWESOME husband and AWESOME friends, I have completed virtually everything before I leave for Idaho in 2 short days.

Here's a few shots I took this morning before church... Rowan and I had a blast, but I can't say the same for Sarah... She was having a bad morning!  Couldn't get a smile out of her for anything!  Until she got to church and saw Mark... she was all smiles after that.  She's in love with him.
Our best wishes to all this holiday season!
Love, The Dunning's

I wish we were spending the holidays together this year! Your tree is beautiful! I find new ornaments scattered throughout the house everyday. Carson thinks it's funny to sneak into the front room and quickly grab an ornament :)
Happy Holidays!!

Great pics, such cute kids! Thanks for the yummy toffee- my fave! John ate like 5 pieces that night. :) Little Rowan is so good with the ornaments. Stila broke like half of mine last year. We put them all up this year. Good thing, too, since Alexa somehow got one and chucked it in the living room.
