She's here! We are so happy to introduce our little girl. What a precious sweetheart she is! We feel so blessed to have had everything go SO well. So, I went in on Saturday morning around 7:30 am, my doctor came in at 8 and broke my water which started my labor! I was already 3 cm and started having contractions! I got my epidural from Dr. Wong, my new best friend... I sure do love those guys! It was the most perfect epidural (since I'm so experienced with the 2 that I've had!). The reason it was so perfect is because I could feel what was going on... believe me, it wasn't comfortable! But, so helpful. I pushed for one and a half hours with Rowan because a) he was a huge 9 lb baby, but b) my epidural was so strong, I couldn't feel a thing! Which made it hard to know which muscles to use for pushing and how to do it! It's not like you can take an aerobics class and be taught how to push out a baby... you kinda have to learn it when it's happening! So, this perfect epidural allowed me to somewhat UNcomfortably feel every contraction, but allowed me to truly understand the art of pushing... and 5 minutes into the pushing, out came Sarah! I was shocked she came flying out so fast!She was born on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 2:08pm.
She weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz., 19.5 inches long... and she has an incredibly FULL head of dark wavy/curly hair... and this olive skin tone (trust me, she passed her jaundice test with flying colors... that skin tone is all her!)

The Big Brother! His shirt says, "Sister for Sale $1.00 Negotiable"He's done pretty well actually... He's very soft with her and calls her "Sissy". Today he picked up her bottle and handed it to me saying, "Baby". He struggled at first while I was in the hospital, he was scared seeing his mommy all hooked up in that bed... but since we've been home, he's been so good and so sweet with her.
Auntie Katie, we were SO happy to have here with us.

Yeah! Congrats! She is beautiful and I am glad that you had a relatively easy delivery. I hope you are settling in well and know that Mark's mother is here now which is great. Ahhhh she is so cute! I love all that hair, reminds me of Nolan...he had a TON of hair too. So Carson and Sarah both have nice skin tones...lucky them. I know he didn't get it from me :) I am glad that your labor went so well and that it was easy considering how labor is. I wish I could have had Dr. Wong ;) I am also glad to hear that Rowan is doing well, I can't wait to meet Sarah. I want to take pictures of her and Carson together...two little peanuts! Uh, your labors sounds exactly like mine. 3 hrs of pushing with Stila (same epidural problem), and like 5 pushes (yes pushes, NOT min) with Alexa. I had Dr Wong, too. He's a miracle worker! We can't wait to see her!
