when kids don't get naps...

thanks to church being at 12:30, Rowan is lucky on his really bad Sundays to get in 30 minutes of a car nap during Sunday school... he's just so difficult to manage without his little routine! Today he got his car nap and an early bedtime of 6, but despite his 3 melt-downs during our 3 hour block, he came home silly and happy making us laugh so hard, I'm tummy sore! Please enjoy the silliness....
Enter the bowls used as hats... Mark's comment was "At least someone is getting use out of our kitchen!!" ha ha... very funny... I can't help it if I'm 99 months pregnant and can only muster up corn on the cob, broccoli salad and rotisserie chicken for Sunday dinner! (All thanks to Costco! took all of 15 minutes! Mark thought it was really good...)It did not fall off, that hat! it was hilarious watching him play around with it on his head. I think he knew we were laughing and wanted to keep it there!

This is where it started to get really funny!! When he pushed that little nose up against the glass longing to go out and play! And, his "hat"... we are still cracking up!
Then he started to say his prayers! He knew the camera was rolling and we were laughing because he was really hamming it up!
Daddy stole the camera and Rowan needed to start getting ready for bed...
I know, my one eye is half-closed and I look terrible, but I love how Rowan will not let go of his "hat"!!
Getting distracted with a book was not going to get this little silly out of going to bed early!!
