he didn't quite "dig in" like we thought he would!
the big bib for nothing! he only ate the oreo cookie off the monkey!
ok, so I made 100 of these... you read that right (two 0's behind that 1) but don't worry, I didn't decorate ALL of them like monkeys.... that would've have been crazy. but they were soo yummy if I do say so... pumpkin cupcakes with orange frosting... hmmm. glad there were a few leftover cuz I think I'll have one right now!
the group.... we had about 60 people come! (incl. kids... )
the bouncehouse was the real allure to the party and rowan was front and center! he would go in there all by himself, crawl around, find the netted "windows" climb up so that he was standing and bounce away! even with big kids in there! he was not afraid...
he would bounce around, then find the door, slide out backwards - eat some pizza, drink some water (you know to replenish after his hard work) and want to go back in for more!
even mommy got in the bouncehouse!!

people are way way too nice... this kid was so spoiled! he got the best gifts! thank you all for being so generous and coming to support little rowan's big FiRST birthday!
he stayed up late playing with all his new toys.... it was the best party ever!!

Looks like he had a blast. Sorry I missed it.
Looks like fun! Can you even believe he is already one!!?? Time does fly- we are gearing up around here for the 4th birthday in just a few short weeks- Carson turns 1 Nov 16th! Time flys too fast!!
Wow! What a party! 60 people! Neither of my kids did much with their birthday cakes either.
