13 week ultrasound today... it's a GIRL?

So we had the 13 week screen today which is a new thing they are doing now here to prescreen for down's and other abnormalities. It's really just a blood test and an ultrasound, but a very detailed ultrasound where they take measurements at the back of the neck (where the lymphatic system is underneath the skin) and measure it's thickness... I guess if it's thick, it means that the lymph system is working hard and a trigger that there is something wrong. Well, our little baby's lymph system was as thin as it should be so there was no problems there, thank goodness. And much to our excitement, they can make a pretty accurate guess at the baby's sex! So, as of right now (we aren't getting our hopes up too high until it's confirmed with the 20 week ultrasound just before Christmas) but both the tech and the physician were 90% sure that we are HAVING A GIRL!!! We couldn't be more excited!! Our little Rowan will make the best big brother to his little sissy!! So, hopefully that will be confirmed on the 18th of December when I go in for the next ultrasound! YEA!!

Ok, Miss Kristy...you really need to stop copying me. Our first borns are boys born in October, and now our second borns are girls...crazy. But, seriously, congrats! Girls are so much fun from day one. We are loving our little Eden!

That will be so fun if it is a girl! It's fun to see how the big brother likes his new little sister. Landon wasn't so nice at first, but he is learning to like his little sister :)
