Rowan's 6 months old!

I can't believe how quickly time flies... Rowan has already passed up his 6 month mark! He's growing way too fast; I really do hate how fast babies grow. He used to cuddle with me and now all he wants to do is wiggle away... He has a mind of his own! So, I thought I'd take a little trip down memory lane and look back at how "little" this wiggle boy used to be.

6 months!! Weighing in at almost 18 lbs!!

Here is a list of 25 things Rowan can do at 6 months:

1. Sit up with a boppy!
2. Hold small toys with one or both hands.
3. Scream very loud, especially when mad...
4. Use his tongue, it's constantly out and has a slight curl at the end, always when he's smiling
5. Smiles at everyone
6. Gives kisses! They are slobbery but very sweet.
7. Gives hugs! He even hugs people he doesn't know very well...
8. Arches his back, pretty much any time you feed him and he wants to see what's going on... he doesn't like to be held like a "baby" anymore...
9. Rolls over and does lots of pushups!
10. Talks all the time, especially to Mommy, Daddy, and any Baby Einstein show...
11. Plays with electronics, phones are his favorite (he knows there is someone talking ~ we've been on speakerphone too many times around him because he always wants to "talk" too) laptops, his baby monitor, anything that lights up!
12. Eats his toes! Playing with his feet is a constant, especially when his diaper is off, babies are so flexible!
13. Makes Mommy and Daddy laugh all the time. When he does something that makes us laugh, he'll start laughing!
14. Pretends to by shy. When someone talks to him (especially a pretty girl), he'll smile and coyly turn his head to the side... It's hilarious, because he's not shy at all!
15. Stands up! His favorite way to be held is so that he can stand up... He giggles with excitement when he stands up on a flat surface and just holds your fingers for balance. He looks like someone trying to hula hoop, his little hips go back and forth so fast trying to balance, it makes me laugh!
16. Had his hair cut twice (6 weeks and 5 months)!
17. Chews on everything, especially stuffed animals or clothes... anything soft. I think he's teething.
18. Sits up in his stroller like a big boy!
19. Takes off his socks, they never stay on.
20. Loves music. He loves listening to Mommy sing, or Daddy play the cello.
21. Loves reading books. He will touch the pages and try to turn them himself!
22. Loves to be outside! Especially when we stop at the park and he gets to swing on the baby swings.
23. Loves to be out and about. He loves when we teach piano because lots of kids play with him while I teach.
24. Has been a major U.S. traveler! Visited San Fransisco, Utah, Idaho, Washington D.C., and Texas...
25. Loves to be happy, silly, and make noise!
