look where we went today!

This show was AWESOME! We had so much fun!
We only took Rowan & Sarah since we would've had to pay for Shelby anyway,
and I'd rather spend it on a babysitter than deal with her 15 month
old inability to sit still... even when entertained by lots of colors and music!

Rowan and Sarah's faces were just priceless!!
I didn't bring a flash and the pictures in our seats were too dark,
but I don't think I will forget their reactions!
Like every time they would fall down or do something funny,
Rowan would throw his little head
back and laugh so hard!! Then say, "Oh Ant-punnee!"
("Anthony", the blue Wiggle, Rowan's favorite, although
when we asked him on the way home who is favorite was, he said
"All the Wiggles", but I'm pretty sure Anthony is still his favorite...
when we got in the car after it was over, he kissed his little
Wiggle Wand that we bought him right on top of
Anthony's head!)
Sarah got a Dorothy the Dinosaur doll and has been holding & hugging her
since we left! It's so cute that all the little girls love Dorothy!
She loves roses and people actually brought her roses that
the Wiggles went around and collected from your seats!
We had lots of neighbors with roses so we got to see ALL the Wiggles
right up next to us! In the bathroom after the show, I told Rowan
that he got to see Anthony in "real life" and something
clicked inside his little mind and he got SO excited,
he said, "Yeah, I got to see Ant-punnee in REAL LIFE!"

Today could not have been more perfect or more fun :)
It's amazing to me how complicated and hectic it is for
us to do things like that with babies, which is all we've really had since we
started our little family! Babies, babies, babies!
Just having a 3 year old and a 2 year old at a fun show focused around them,
was just SO enjoyable! We didn't have to get up, bounce a fussy baby,
walk out (miss a half hour or more), try and get her to sleep
(since the show was at 2:30, serious naptime), or a wiggly, non - lap child trying to crawl around the floor at our feet.

We even had dinner at Wahoo's on the way home and
it was like a miracle.
A miracle in that I got to actually
sit the entire time and eat, talk about the Wiggles show,
laugh at Rowan watching the skateboarders crash on the Wahoo's TVs saying
"OOH! Whoa! They fell down, Mommy!" - and smile at Sarah as she blew on
every bite of her rice before eating it.

Today was a day to remember.
And one day (probably sooner than I will actually want)
I will be eating at Wahoo's with all 3 of them,
enjoying all their chatter, and personalities
and remembering the hectic baby days
when one of them says,
"I did it! I went poo-poo! Yay, Mommy!"
And it was in their diaper.

She is SO ready to be potty trained.

(and I'm rolling my eyes about it)
I feel like I JUST spent the last year potty training Rowan
and we are barely at a place where it isn't really that
scary anymore... I'm not ready to start again, to be honest.
Even though that would take me down to only
ONE in diapers... wow, what a concept :)
Diapers are gross, but easy...
And, right now, I'm all about easy... even if it's gross.
Don't worry, I'll get her potty trained soon!
I don't think she'll let me wait too long!!
:)

I regret that we didn't try harder to get tickets a few years back when Wiggle Greg was still part of the band. My kids just don't feel the same way about Sam Wiggle. They did both enjoy Bear in the Big Blue House, though, so I'm not too awful of a mom!

So sweet and yes the day will come all too soon when your 3 "babies" are teenagers and running around to all their practices, lessons, classes and barely have time to say hello. I'm not ready to even think about that but it is nice to start to realize that you can slowly start to reclaim your sanity and have a nice relaxing dinner with your family.
