june 23rd, a very happy daddy's b-day!

we celebrated in our traditional Dunning family style:

cake (or as Sarah calls them, "cukakes") with candles
(and Rowan's help, of course, blowing them out!)
balloons, presents, favorite dinner, and lots of pictures :)

and this is what he got...
in lieu of the real one he's getting!
he had too much fun with the laser... saying things like
"target acquired"
DON'T WORRY!! I did not let him pull the trigger!!
Poor Sarah... she got tired of guns, and just wanted help with her puzzle.
I came to her rescue :)
and to this scared little boy's rescue too!
No animals/children were "shot", injured, or harmed in any way during the making of
this birthday party! There was lots of screaming, running around, and laughing!
Happy Birthday to our most loved Daddy. WE love you so so much.
We love how you make us laugh, take us to the park to find the froggies and the bunnies,
do all our games and stories at night before bed,
and love us all so deeply.
