shelby's party was small... just us. i like it small.
i know i promised a big bash a year ago when sarah's 1st birthday was small, just us - but it just didn't happen this year, maybe next year?
rowan is such the big excited brother! he was more into this "party" than anyone else! talked about it nonstop and how he was going to blow out the candles for shelby, and open all her presents, and play with all the new toys, and then it will be rowan's birthday party... and so on and so on :) he had it all figured out!
like every one year old, she loved her first cupcake :)
and i loved this new recipe:
sour cream almond chocolate cupcakes with pink grapefruit frosting - delish!
the balloons were the biggest hit, and by the time the party started, half had either popped or gone bye-bye in the sky-sky.
little miss Sarah was dragging them everywhere saying "mine, mine"

Her eyes and lucious lips are to die for! I want a new camera! I got a new lens that I'm in love with. My next upgrade will be a camera :)
