I've given up with trying to "catch up" with this blog...
so this is today.
a WARM Saturday night.
we ran around, we played, we ate cookies.
and this little Budgie, too ("boo-jee")
that's her nickname
Mark started this when she was a newborn and it's really stuck!
a budgie is a popular bird people have as pets in England...
apparently they move their little heads super fast
which is what our little Shelbs does,
probably to take in all that's happening around her
with the crazy life at this house!
i've been really sad to see her approaching toddlerhood...
I'm quite upset about it, actually - and don't know who to file a complaint with! :)
she's slowly and surely outgrowing her babyness and I'm going to miss
everything about this past year (minus the newborn reflux ick).
she's turning ONE in a few weeks
and it's hard to believe I was due to have another baby about this time while
Sarah was Shelby's age!
My kids just amaze me every day with what they say, how they grow, what they absorb
&
I feel very blessed each day to be their mommy and share in their sweet lives.

You're right. Seriously, so cute! They are adorable! Great pics Kristy! Is she really almost one? That is crazy. Let me know when you find someone to file a complaint with. I am just so happy I got to see you and the kids! Oh and Mark too! They are so dang adorable! Sure you don't want to pop out another? You guys make gorgeous kids!
