she's ONE!

our little Sarah turned ONE yesterday!!  I honestly can't believe how FAST that year flew by.  And, I'm right back where I started!  Adjusting and enjoying life with a newborn :)

Our little Sarah is such a sweet girl.
She loves to give hugs.
She loves to laugh and play with her big brother.
She loves water and will find any open toilet for a fun splash.
She loves to eat (just like her mommy).
She can almost walk and has taken a few steps already!
She loves people and will go to anyone especially if you are wearing fun jewelry.
She is a joy and a light to our family!

Her party was just us... as it being 9 days post-partum,
I wasn't feeling up for a big bash...
Next year though... Sarah & Shelby will be having a huge celebration for their 2 & 1 birthdays (yes, I've already starting planning... :)

She loves food, so her first cake was thoroughly enjoyed.
By Rowan too...
Yep, he licked all the frosting off the top before he ate the middle.
And after all that... she got a bath in the kitchen sink and splashed water all over me and the window!
Her present... a baby doll and stroller
Only, someone else decided it was his new baby.
And... she might not be getting her new present back anytime soon.
I did a little photo shoot with her for her birthday...
She was quite the little poser!!
Thanks to her Grandma she loves the camera.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SARAH!!
WE LOVE YOU.

Eden has that same stroller. She loves it. She is such a cutie pie. You're going to have to keep a close eye on her when she's older. Hope every day gets easier for you. By the way, if you are in desperate need of someone to help you survive while Mark's away, call my Mom. She would love to help if you need it.

love seeing your sweet kids! sounds like the perfect bday....my 2nd and third had the same kind of 1st bday---low key, just our family (like the 5 of us) and it was so great...all the attention was where it should have been ;)
