Idaho Recap

Pictures are ALL courtesy of my most talented Mom!! Thank you!!

We just spent over 2 weeks in Idaho with my family taking LOTS of pictures, riding the 4-wheeler (aka "BIIIKE" as Rowan would cry out every waking moment for a ride), visiting Bear World, the zoo, swimming, fireworks, etc. etc...

For being quite the cautious little boy, he sure loves rides! This little ride at Bear World went straight up and down, was pretty high and actually made ME nervous! Rowan loved it and actually threw a tantrum when we forced him to get off (after his 3rd ride, in a row).
The tantrum.
This is Uncle "Kennel" (Kendal). Rowan loves this guy. We've been home now for almost 2 weeks and he still wakes up asking for "Kennel"
And this is Auntie Katie (aka "Katalee"). We were eating lunch at Nordy's cafe yesterday and he saw a girl with dark curly hair and starting yelling for her "Katalee!!"

What is Bear World? A great little extention of Yellowstone Park where tons of bears live (in Rigby no less, right near my parents' house!). It's ridiculously overpriced for driving through a few hundred acres of bear dens, but you actually see quite a lot of bears and they walk right next to your car (windows up, of course!), climb trees, wrestle with each other, swim, etc. It's pretty cool, Rowan loved it!

This kid loves animals and would play with my Mom's cat & my brother & sister's kittens every chance he was given!

He was pretty gentle with them too... Although my Mom's cat, Chloe is the sweetest cat you've ever been around. She's a kitten too (7 mos old) and would let Rowan pull her ears and wouldn't even move! She's a darling cat!
