We had to do them early this year so we could get our packages sent off to England in good time. I went out and bought a tripod for my camera, got some great advice from my mom on the right settings for portraits, and had my dear friend
Tammy come over to push the button and make Rowan laugh. She is an awesome photographer and did an amazing job at keeping Rowan looking at the camera and snapping the perfect moments! I am so happy with the results! It was a FAST session too, we only took 26 pictures in about 8 minutes! My only complaint is that darn couch - I should've known better and will hear it from my mom, I'm sure. It was a little busy with the stripes and I wasn't even thinking about that when I set everything up in the yard. We have this older-looking wooden one (without cushions) but we were dressed up so nice didn't want to sit on it because it was dirty... but I should've remembered my mom always getting excited when she'd do a bridal session and the bride wasn't afraid to get the dress dirty. Oh well, all I can say is that it turned out better than last year! And, I'm just so new to this whole photography world (so that's my excuse...) that it's hard to remember

Great pictrues! We are going to "try" to get some good ones for Christmas when we go up to the mountains on Thanksgiving. I love the first one the most! Rowan looks so handsome in his cute little vest!

Looks great! I LOVE them. You look smokin' HOT as always! We attempted some pictures 2 saturdays ago and I picked the wrong color dresses for my girls. They blended in with their skin too much. So, a week later of finding the perfect new dresses... we are attempting again on friday! Cross your fingers. We have never done a family picture for our Christmas cards!

I didn't even notice the couch, I don't think it looks too busy! We still need to get on it so we can send out our cards on time...we just never seem to have the time!
