Blaggin Rights!
Ok, so I have to brag... er blag about what I did in London! Well, first off - we got soaked. Soaked is an understatement of how wet I was the entire day. Try from the knees down, sopping feet/shoes/socks and all.... so we did everything to get out of the rain... London Eye (largest Ferris wheel in the world, crazy scary for someone like me who is desperately afraid of heights... Mark's video clips of me white as a ghost are pretty hilarious! Worth it though to avoid the rain for a half hour)... Then Pizza Hut lunch buffet (first place we saw that we RAN into... hoping to emerge to clear skies... a big fat no). So, then we.... Wait, I must backtrack first. So, I have been begging, no pleading Mark to take me to see Wicked in LA... for months and months looking up tickets online, etc. etc. planning dates we could go and he is NOT a theater kind of guy. He saw Phantom of the Opera and swore that was his last time at a musical. I seriously thought I'd have to hoof it myself up to the Pantages Theater and see that darn show myself! But oh the gifts that come from RAIN! Mark says to me... well, maybe we could see a movie (I quickly interject... a SHOW? Wicked??? Please, please?) and lo and behold a miracle occurred and we found ourselves running around looking for places that sold half price day of tickets! We found some and with the BEST seats ever and I SAW WICKED IN LONDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was the happiest I'd been the whole trip. Mark kept laughing at me saying, I've never seen you smile this much. I couldn't help it, my dream was coming true finally! It was amazing, I loved every single second of it and even when it was intermission, I was so wrapped up in it I thought it was over and looked at Mark horrified that it was and he laughed his head off reminding me there was an Act 2. It was the best night of our entire trip and I am so pleased to announce that although that may have been my last trip to the theater with Mark, he DID enjoy it! There's hope! I just couldn't wait to blag about my favorite night in Europe seeing Wicked in London at the Apollo Victoria theater with the best cast I'd ever seen. :) :)

JEALOUS!!!!!!!! SO JEALOUS!!!!!!! And happy for you, of course :)
How awesome is Wicked...and in London? Lucky, lucky girl. I really wanted to see Mary Poppins in London but got out-voted by our friends in favor of Les Miserables (most depressing play ever). So I am so happy that your dream came true!!!! And I love the term 'blag'...too cute.
I LOVED WICKED. SUCH A GOOD MESSAGE! MY DAD SERVED HIS MISSION IN LONDON AND SAID IT RAINED SO MUCH! THAT IS CRAZY!
Wicked is one of my favorites! I am so glad you were able to see it- and in London of all places! We are actually thinking about hitting the Pantages again to see it for the second time. Wanna come??!?
