such a boy!
Today as I was on the phone with the passport office wondering where in the world is Rowan's passport, and I look over and Rowan is pointing and touching a gigantic spider crawling along the baseboard!!!!!! I screamed so loud, it made him cry! The poor spider didn't know what was going on because as everyone else I know our house has become infested with ants and there were some ants following the spider along the baseboard and Rowan was in heaven watching this insect fest going on... so between the ants, Rowan's taunting, and my scream, that poor spider was doomed. AHH, I hate insects!! I hate ants!!!! I woke up this morning and had to literally wash down my entire kitchen because ants were EVERYWHERE!!!!!!! It was such a mess, I'm over it and heading to Home Depot to end this madness right now...

Ooh, I am so sorry about the ants. I hate ants more than spiders. The whole idea of them crawling around inside the house just sicks me out!!! Good luck and call an exterminator.

Oh my Gosh that is not even funny. Our condo in Santa Margarita was always infested with ants. I feel your pain! Good luck.
Kristy, long story short, I once heard Kate crying at night when she was a baby, and when I went to check on her, she was COVERED in ants! In her crib!! They were in her hair, her diaper, her jammies....it was so traumatizing....and the end of the line. I called Terminex the next day, and they now come spray my yard down four times a year, and I promise you that I have not had one single ant since! I hate ants, especially cuz when you kill them, wiping them up is impossible! Yuck.
Anyway, just a little tip, although aren't ants worse in the heat...maybe they will go away as the weather cools off.
I know it's scary to use pesticides in your house, but if you find the location(s) where they are entering, they seriously go away so fast! Good luck. Our infestation seems to have "died" down for a while. Isn't Rowan such the boy? I love that he was investigating all the insect life with such curiosity.
You know, I have always had a soft spot for ants (excepting only ones who dare come in my house!!!) because they are usually carrying some huge piece of food that is 5x's their size. I gotta give em kudos for that...and then kill em! lol.
