Rowan's first Angel's Game

It was Mormon night again at the Angels Stadium!! This is my favorite night to go, in fact it's the only game I go to all season! In the 5 years I've lived in California I've never missed a Mormon Night Game. They call it "Mormon" night because all the missionaries get to go (they all sit together in one big giant white shirt nosebleed section... you can't miss them!) and every stake in the area gets discounted tickets. It's a very fun night! Well, since Mark is pulling a handcart somewhere in Yucaipa, I had to go it alone this year! Well, not completely alone, I was so happy to go with Liz & Ian. It was so fun enjoying the game with them! Rowan loves them and enjoyed showing off his jumping skills at home (in his jump-a-roo) before we left and sitting on Ian's lap during the 9th inning... but I was a little skeptical thinking that Rowan wouldn't handle it too well (being so late past his bedtime) but he really surprised me! He did amazingly well until the fireworks, then all that noise and extreme fatigue got the better of him and we had to call it a night, but he really enjoyed it! Thanks, Liz for taking such great pictures, for dinner and taking us to the game! We loved spending it with you!

He was a little confused at first, but curious about this whole experience. Everytime there was applause and cheering, he would turn around and look at all the people behind us! It was so funny... I kept trying to show him the field down below but he was more interested in all the people!
