Hi from Rowan! I love being in Idaho but I miss my daddy... so this is for you, Daddy! Grandma's been taking lots of pictures of me and Grandpa's been teaching me how to do stuff! Here's what I've been doing:
Grandpa taught me how to mow the lawn!
We even chased Mommy around the yard! But then, Grandpa ran over her toes... don't worry, the blades were off!
I'm sure having fun!
Ok, now it's Mom here... We are certainly enjoying our time here in Idaho! It's been so fun to be around my parents and brothers and see them getting to know Rowan. He's such a funny little boy! He started babbling just yesterday... he's says "blab, blab, blab, blab..." literally all day long (or whenever he's happy and playful). It's so fun to hear. He also has mastered crawling backwards! No, he cannot crawl forwards, only backwards... He will get to his "destination" then move into a sitting position, look around and laugh, then turn around and head back towards his toys... backwards! It's hilarious to watch! Yesterday he was in my mom's studio and I made him a pillow brigade so that he'd take a nap, but he escaped the pillows and wound up in the closet laughing and pulling out hats from a basket (my mom's props) and throwing them on the floor! Sneaky little boy. Well, we have an official studio session today with my mom and it's going to be made into a LifeBook called "My Mommy & Me". Gotta love having a photographer in the family!!

Oh I wish I could make it to the reunion, I am really bummed we can't come. I have a lot of time off in August and Sept, we should plan some way to see each other! Rowan is mark's mini-me!! He is adorable! Tell your mom hi for me and that I wish Carson could get his picture taken. xoxoox

Hey Sister Dunning! It sure sounds like you guys are having tons of fun! Rowan is such a cutie! When he gets older all the girls are going to be checking him out! haha. It sure has been fun texting ya and keeping in touch while you've been gone. You're awesome! Have fun with your friend tonight!

I'm not sure who ej is, but I agree--I'm jealous that grandma in your family is a photographer!! Could that be any cooler?
Love the pics of little Rowan....he is such a doll. Ezra is 10 1/2 monhts old and he still isn't crawling...
So are training up there for our upcoming half marathon? I ran a 10k in Utah, and have been trying to fit my runs in. Training takes a serious time commitment!
