My First Mother's Day

Despite having a dreadful chest cold, I had the BEST Mother's day. Mark surprised me with these beautiful flowers and an AMEX giftcard (yea!!) and took care of Rowan all day for me so that I could rest. I started feeling sick on Friday and as this chest thingy progressed I became so worried about my race! I missed my 10 miler Saturday because of this so I am going to the doctor to get an ok as to when I can continue my training. I am feeling better today so I hope that is good news!! I sometimes have to take a reality check to believe I'm a mother already! When I was younger it always seemed so far away, but now I'm experiencing the joys of motherhood every day... crazy! But so amazing, I'm so grateful that I am priviledged to enjoy this holiday with all the great mothers out there!
