Three Things That Scare Me:

1. Mark when he slowly comes around the corner with his arms in the air above his head, never saying anything, just waiting for me to see him... when I do I scream! But he always laughs because when I see him, I pause, then scream... he thinks it's so funny to see the "delay" in my reaction... I don't find it funny at all... stinker.
2. Scary Movies, Mark loves them, makes me watch them, then I can't sleep.
3. Cougars when I'm running. I don't know why but since that cougar attacked the biker a few years ago, and I read about one in Rancho lurking around the elementary school, I'm so scared that one is going to jump out and get me when I'm running (like that would ever happen, I run next to the road... but I'm still scared)

Three people Who Make Me Laugh:

1. Mark
2. Rowan
3. Borat (don't worry, I watched it with Clearplay... it cut out all the bad stuff, thank goodness, and even so he totally cracks me up)

Three Things I Love:

1. Chocolate
2. Running (so I can eat more chocolate)
3. Gymboree (it's replaced Arden B, and you all know how much I looove Arden B...)

Three Things I Hate:

1. My online History class
2. That I don't have enough time to do everything (like clean my bathrooms every day)
3. No matter how hard I try, I can't be Martha Stewart, and I love her. I want to be her... She cleans her bathroom every day. And she knows how to make yummy and pretty cookies that turn out perfect... every time.

Three Things I Don’t Understand:

1. HTML code
2. How Martha Stewart does it... all
3. How I graduated from BYU without taking American Heritage (hence the reason I'm taking it now... yuck)

Three things On My Desk:

1. Since Mark is now working from home, he's taken over my desk.
2. My favorite picture of Mark and me (my Mom took it while we were dating, plus my hair looks good in it)
3. Some baby gifts that I have yet to send out. (These babies are like Rowan's age... I'm such a bad friend.) See? Martha Stewart would have had those gifts handmade, handwrapped, and sent out 2 months before the babies were born. Why can't I be like her?????

Three Things I’m Doing Right Now:

1. Watching some program about obesity.
2. Sitting next to my cute husband talking about how people can lose weight.
3. Watching and listening to my baby monitor for any sniffles from the little sick boy.

Three Things I Want To Do Before I Die:

1. Go to Africa with my Dad (it's his dream and I want to see him there)
2. Become somewhat like Martha Stewart (is it even possible?)
3. Run a marathon

Three Things I Can Do:

1. Run 7 miles! (so far)
2. Teach piano
3. Make Rowan laugh by being as goofy and silly as possible

Three Things I Can’t Do:

1. Grocery shop with coupons (I should, I really should)
2. Sew (I want to, I'd like to, Martha does it)
3. Drink enough water (diet coke just really chokes out space in there for water... but I've got to give it up. It's going to kill my runs)

Three Things I Think You Should Listen To:

1. Your spouse, Mark is the smartest guy I know.
2. Your parents, mine always have the greatest advice.
3. The Holy Ghost, I love that your wrote that Erin, that will give you the most guidance and peace in your life.

Three Things You Should Never Listen To:

1. Gossip, another one I love that you wrote Erin.
2. Honking cars, barking dogs, all annoying sounds
3. Liars

Three Things I’d Like To Learn:

1. Sewing
2. Photography ~ I'm attempting that right now. Mom, help?
3. How to have a house and garden like Martha Stewart, oh and find the time to cook like her too

Three Favorite Foods:

1. Chocolate, anything.
2. Papa Kelsey's Turkey Mozzarella Sandwich (it's in Idaho)
3. Cafe Rio Sweet Pork Burrito or Salad (it's in Utah)
**Since all of my favorite foods are out of town, I only eat chocolate in California (ha ha)

Three Shows I Watched As A Kid:

1. Muppet Babies
2. Sesame Street
3. Little House on the Prairie (I secretly wanted to be Laura Ingalls, I always wore my hair in braids and called my dad, "Pa")

Three Things I Regret:

1. Taking the job with Neurocrine (selling Zoloft) and not Tyco (selling surgical trays and feeding tubes/pumps). Although in my current situation, it didn't really matter, but I hated selling pharmaceuticals. If I do ever go back to work, I will never do that again.
2. Living so far away from family (although, don't get your hopes up, guys - we love it here)
3. That many of my beautiful plants died when it got cold (Martha would have known how to save them)

Three people I tag:

1. Kristen Anthony (you need to blog more, missy)
2. Cristy Overholtzer
3. Liz Silverthorne

Sooo fun to read! And your Martha Stewart comments are soo funny!!! You are getting pretty close yourself! :) But I do have to defend myself w/ the blogging. 1) I have picked up seven students for tutoring, so I am working more than fulltime now. Blah! (Nanny until 2:30 at the latest and then tutor until 7:30 at the latest) 2) We don't have a laptop, and trust me, sitting in another room to blog when your husband is in the other just kinda kills it, and 3) I live in San Francisco!!!!! In case that isn't enough, I live about 10 feet from some of the most amazing restaurants and boutiques around. As fun as blogging is, sometimes a walk down polk street or a drive to the golden gate bridge simply wins out! :) and
4) I am simply not as speedy/ tech savy as everyone else when it comes to blogging!!! Maybe one day. . :)
Love you Kristy!

Okay, that was so fun :) And you are getting to be quite a bit like Martha I will admit, however- don't try to be too much like her or you may end up in prison! haha I like Kristy with a few Martha flares...you try to clean your bathroom EVERY day? I don't even mangage once a week...or month...or, well, better stop there :)

Kristy. I think you are about as close to Martha as they get.. without actually being her. And another thing, are you taking a photography class right now? I have been trying to find one but I don't want to be in a class with like 30 people.. I want something a little more intimate you know.

I liked reading your "tag." That is a lot of writing! I know you tagged me but between grading papers, writing lesson plans, trying to clean my house this weekend (I guess I could stand to be a little more Martha as well), entertaining Nolan- I don't know when I will get to it, but I will try my best! By the way, from what I have seen...you are sooo close to Martha! PS. EVERYONE at work loves my fruit salsa and chips today...thanks friend!

Okay Martha Jr...you're obsessed. It cracks me up. Every time we talk you're doing something you saw on Martha that week. Let's just pray her show is never canceled or you might have withdrawls. ha ha! And the diet coke thing...I'm there with you. I just can't give it up. It's my drug of choice. Thanks for your email today...I'll fill you in more. He'll be there another night! I just want him home right about now.

Ha! Loved your "tag". You inspire me to be more like YOU, although I admit I wouldn't mind a little more Martha in my life. My bathrooms could use the help. And yes, I did respond to your tag. Thanks for the chance to think about some important questions. As always, love you and your darling family! It cracks me up, because every time Ian sees Rowan in person or on your blog he's ready to start baby-making. Maybe some day soon :). We love you guys!
