So, "Heaven's Arrival" (the picture of Rowan as a tiny newborn with my hand around his little head of thick black hair that's strangely gone now) won BIG at the Idaho Professional Photographers Print Competition. Out of 180 prints, she took 3rd place in Children's, won a Judge's Choice Award (they only hand out 5 of these!!!), and scored a Merit (83 out of 90). There were only 2 prints that scored higher. GO, GRANDMA!! She really is the most talented grandma/mom we know and we are soo PROUD of her. Congratulations, Grandma Karen!!!! We love you.

Congratulations Grandma Karen! Your amazing talent takes my breath away. It all started with Mark and Kristy's pre-wedding pictures. It is easy to make Mark and Kristy look good though. You have an eye for capturing great moments that you always want to remember exactly how you were feeling. That speaks to the viewer as well.
